Protection for the S8

After looking at trying out a different couple cases for the S8, I have settled on the Incipio Reprieve [Sport] for RM 139 (approximately USD 32.14 which is slightly cheaper than the price listed on the official website). It offers an advertised drop protection of 12 feet which is plenty for most people. Another plus is that, the case causes the front and the back of the S8 to be slightly raised so as to remove direct contact of the phone on both sides with the surface that it is rested on.

Decals

Am seriously considering skinning the laptop to cover the fairly large manufacturer branding on the top shell. Perhaps something for the inner bezels as well. Something from the art supply store perhaps?

The right height

Hopefully this remedies the problem of the laptop screen being position too low for prolonged periods. I guess I will know for sure when my shoulders don’t feel as stiff.

Removing Windows bloat

While my laptop did not come with any bloatware installed by the manufacturer, there was still the usual Windows 10 bloat like Skype Preview, Groove Music, etc. Therefore, the first thing I did was to load up the Powershell as administrator and used the "Get-AppxPackage -allusers | Remove-AppxPackage" command. In seconds, I had a leaner, cleaner and clutter free install of Windows. I highly suggest that you do this whenever you get your hands on a brand new laptop.
